When the first call comes in to the Boston Fire Department, firefighters will have no choice but to wear their firefighting gloves.
The gloves are an essential piece of equipment, they are used for everything from stopping fires to fighting in a confined space.
But they are not only used by firefighters.
They are also used by other firefighters to make their jobs easier, according to Boston Firefighter Code Chief Steve McClelland.
“The gloves come in handy in a number of different situations,” Mr McCleland said.
He said they help keep the gloves on as you get closer to the fire, and when you go out in a vehicle, where the wind is blowing really hard.
Mr McClecland said when a firefighter is trying to save lives, it is important to keep them out of the heat of the moment.
Firefighters wear firefighting boots in the heat, but Mr McCland recommends that they should not wear fire fighting gear in the cold.
In fact, the Boston fire department has recommended firefighters wear fire fighter codes to help keep themselves cool in the event of an emergency.
There are different codes for different areas, including hot and cold zones, and they can be used in conjunction with firefighting equipment.
