A firefighter who is training to become a firefighter is preparing for a battle to save lives when he and a fellow firefighter find themselves trapped in a burning building.
Firefighters from both agencies are using their training to save the lives the people around them are in danger of losing, with one officer using his firefighting training to free a young man from a burning house.
But the firefighters have to find a way to make the young man get out of the burning building without being trapped in the burning house, the man’s father says.
The firefighter who rescued the young Canadian boy is a firefighter, a position that requires him to carry out all kinds of dangerous jobs, including building maintenance and cleaning, which are his primary job.
The firefighters are now going to go to school and become firefighters, his father says, but their life is going to be disrupted and they won’t be able to go back to their normal lives.
“You can’t just be sitting in a fire,” the father said.
“We have to take that first step, and that’s how you will save lives, so we can get back to our normal lives.”
The father says he’s been overwhelmed by the response from firefighters and the community to the fire, but he hopes that as more and more firefighters train to become firefighters they’ll be able learn from one another and be able work together.
“It’s very, very important,” he said.
“If we can learn from each other, and if we can work together, we can make sure that the community can live without fire in this area.”

(Paul Chiasson/Canadian Press)The family of the young firefighter said he and the other firefighter are not going to put up with the constant challenges of being trapped inside a burning fire.
“If you go to a fire, you’re trapped in there for the next six months,” he explained.
“But when you come out of there, you don’t have any clothes on, you can’t breathe, you just can’t move.
You’re just stuck there.”
The family is looking forward to getting back to school this fall, with the hope that their son will be able return to his family.
“This is what I’ve been missing my whole life, and it’s a life that I want to live, and we’re going to make sure he’s able to get back into that,” he told CBC News.
